Global Warming to Climate Change – How has the Planet gotten there?

Several years ago proponents of global warming, Al Gore for one, began lecturing us on the affects of this phenomenon. Man’s affect on the climate has been blamed for all the bad weather in recent history.
Gore says, “As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now, and they say increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming”.
In fact, we know that the earth goes through climate changes that have not always been associated with man. The ice age certainly wasn’t caused by greenhouse gases. Back in the 70s scientists believed we might be headed for another ice age as they felt the earth was cooling.
Fox news had a report that presents the opposing viewpoints. This discussion was brought on by a blog statement that was made by Al Gore. It seems, since no one is actually able to predict what the affects of man are on the earth’s climate, that a more generic term is being used for the pollution caused by man. That term is now climate change.
